Intelligence against False Alarms
We have combined a special optic with a software filter against false alarms in motion detectors. With a professional installation, high detection accuracy is achieved.

Special Lens
The structure of the Fresnel lens sections is designed in such a way that the evaluated infrared rays of a human being, an animal and the thermal noise show clear differences. Radiation emanating from an adult's head and torso is captured by large lens sections. Smaller sections add more detail to the collected data. The MotionCam lens provides the detector with precise information about the thermal object in the detection area and the nature of its movement.

Professional Installation
Installing the MotionCam in the right location, at the optimal height and perpendicular to the likely path of the intruder will ensure a meaningful thermal map. This greatly improves the recognition accuracy. Professional installation also makes the pet immunity function more efficient.

Thermal Interference Filter
The detector immediately analyzes the thermal diagram of the sensor: the intensity of infrared radiation, the size of the heat spot, the speed of movement, the time spent in the detection area, and other parameters.

Ajax engineers analyzed thousands of IR sensor triggers from humans, animals, and thermal disturbances and developed SmartDetect. The software algorithm determines characteristics of false alarms with high accuracy and immediately. As a result, the detector reacts precisely to a person and does not bother the user with false alarms.

Temperature Compensation
Temperature Compensation is a software-level tool that ensures thermal chart contrast even when the ambient temperature is close to the human body temperature.

Each time the ambient temperature is measured, the detector corrects the data from the PIR sensor according to the table of coefficients stored in its memory. The detector is reliable over the entire operating temperature range.

Sensitivity Level
With the sensitivity setting, the detector adapts to the conditions of a specific room, taking into account possible thermal disturbances and pets. Changing the sensitivity setting affects false alarm filtering.

With low sensitivity, the detector is less likely to respond to even a very active pet. With a high level of sensitivity, it triggers an alarm with every movement in the detection area. Sensitivity can be adjusted both locally and remotely in the Ajax app.

Photo Verification
Within seconds, MotionCam (PhOD) shows the current situation on-site and, in the event of an alarm, clears the user's doubts. One-click in the Ajax app is enough to take a photo on demand. The detector also automatically takes a series of photos when it detects movement or when the FireProtect 2 (Heat/Smoke) or FireProtect 2 (Heat/Smoke/CO) fire detector is triggered.

More Safety
Both the users of the system and the response team need to know exactly what is happening on-site in the event of an alarm. The MotionCam can be used to determine how many burglars are armed and whether they are still in the room. This helps the security service to prepare accordingly and reduces the risk to users.

Evidence in the Smartphone
The animated photo series provides investigators with an accurate description of the burglars without wasting any time. Thanks to the IR backlight, MotionCam takes photos even in complete darkness. This increases the likelihood of catching burglars in the act.

Add the MotionCam detector to the Ajax security system in a few clicks. Open the Ajax app, scan the QR code, and assign a room to the detector. The detector housing does not need to be dismantled. The SmartBracket mounting plate allows you to securely mount the detector on a flat surface or in a corner.
