- Serial interfaces: RS232 and RS485
- Dual SIM with auto-failover
- WLAN support with up to 100 connections
- Ethernet (10/100 Mbps)
In addition to its mobile and wired connection options, the RUT906 also supports WLAN according to the 802.11b/g/n standard, which enables up to 100 simultaneous connections. With numerous security and management functions, such as a firewall, VPN support, and remote management via the Teltonika Remote Management System (RMS) platform, the router offers a comprehensive solution for secure and flexible network infrastructures.
Teltonika TRB series vs RUT series
Both the TRB and RUT series from Teltonika are robust industrial cellular routers that are used for a variety of IoT applications.
The TRB series is primarily designed as compact and cost-effective IoT gateways. These devices are ideal for smaller IoT projects where a simple and reliable connection to a network is needed. While some models offer optional Wi-Fi modules, Wi-Fi is usually not integrated as standard. The TRB series is characterized by its easy configuration and small footprint.
In contrast, the RUT series is a more comprehensive line of industrial routers that offers a variety of interfaces and features, including an integrated Wi-Fi module. The RUT series is suitable for a wider range of applications, from small IoT projects to large industrial networks that require a robust and reliable connection. These routers offer higher performance, more flexibility in configuration, and a larger number of interfaces than the TRB series.
