The Teltonika TRB255 is a compact and robust LTE gateway designed for industrial applications and IoT solutions. It offers reliable connectivity, a variety of interfaces and functions, and easy integration into existing systems.

Features
- 2G/4G LTE CAT M1
- Dual SIM
- VPN*
- Serial interface
- Compatible with Teltonika RMS

*Numerous VPN services, such as OpenVPN, IPsec, PPTP, L2TP, and DMVPN. A VPN is like a private tunnel for your Internet connection that encrypts your data and hides your IP address to protect your privacy and security on the Internet.

Teltonika TRB Series vs RUT Series
Both Teltonika's TRB and RUT series are robust industrial cellular routers used for a variety of IoT applications.

The TRB series is primarily designed as compact and cost-effective IoT gateways. These devices are ideal for smaller IoT projects where a simple and reliable connection to a network is needed. While some models offer optional Wi-Fi modules, Wi-Fi is usually not built in as standard. The TRB series is characterized by its easy configuration and small footprint.

In contrast, the RUT series is a more comprehensive line of industrial routers that offers a variety of interfaces and features, including an integrated Wi-Fi module. It is suitable for a wider range of applications, from small IoT projects to large industrial networks that require a robust and reliable connection. These routers offer higher performance, more flexibility in configuration, and a larger number of interfaces than the TRB series.

Machine-to-Machine (M2M)
M2M is a concept in which devices or machines are connected to each other over a network and exchange data on their own to complete tasks or share information. This communication occurs with no or minimal human involvement.

NB-IoT
NB-IoT stands for Narrowband Internet of Things. It is a Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) technology that was specifically developed for the Internet of Things (IoT). NB-IoT enables a large number of devices to be connected to the Internet over long distances while consuming little power.
