Dur-Line 3 Hole 7dB Programmable Unicable End-Socket with Protection Circuit

With the DUR-line and JAP307TRS series, antenna sockets are available for the first time, which enable the trouble-free operation of subscriber-controlled single-cable converters even when installing across apartments. Use this socket only for unicable strings that span apartments! The socket protects against interference from other participants through manipulation or incorrectly configured receivers.

The problem
In the case of subscriber-controlled single-cable systems, it is important that each receiver identification number (user band ID) is only assigned once per line. In the case of multi-apartment installations, however, it can easily lead to double assignments (e.g. when changing tenants). This disrupts other receivers and, in the worst case, paralyzes the entire network

The solution
JULTEC has developed special antenna sockets (JAP series). They look like normal antenna sockets, the electronics inside also analyze all control commands from the connected receiving devices in real-time. The control commands only pass through the socket if the commands are permitted for the respective socket. In this way, faults from incorrectly configured receiving devices cannot occur in the distribution network. This functionality is protected by a European patent from JULTEC.

The programming takes place via a USB programming adapter JAP100 or via an appropriately equipped antenna measuring device with a programming function.

The JAP sockets support single-cable commands according to EN 50494 and EN 50607 (JESS), also in conjunction with unbranded single-cable converters or single-cable LNBs.
