The Octagon SX887 WL is an IP receiver with the Linux operating system and a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080p (Full HD). This IP receiver was provided with a built-in 150 Mbit/s fast WiFi module.
A dual-core 32-bit CPU (2 x 800 MHz; 3000 DMIPS) together with 256 MB DDR3 RAM provide the necessary performance. The IP receiver particularly stands out due to its fast boot time of just 15 seconds and has a learnable multifunctional remote control. A multi-core high-performance GPU and a flash memory of 128 MB complete the result. The IP receiver has the most important connections such as one USB 2.0 connection, an HDMI connection, and a LAN connection of up to 100 Mbit/s. The IP receiver also has the E2TV multiroom TV client system function and an infrared receiver for hidden installation.
